Congratulations to the Men's 1st Team who will be promoted to the Premier League next season.
The Ladies' 1st team have finished a respectable 5th in Division 1, especially as they had to borrow from the lower teams to complete their matches.
The Men's 2nd team have managed to stay in Division 2 after a difficult season of losing players to 1st team.
The Ladies' 2nd team, like the Men's 2nd team, have managed to stay in Division 2, whilst also having to lend players to the 1st team.
The Men's 3rd team were also have to lend players to the higher teams so have done a great job managing to stay in Division 3.
The Ladies' 3rd team sadly lost out by having to lend players to higher teams and will be demoted to Division 5 next season.
The Men's 4th team narrowly missed out on promotion, level on points for 2nd place and only sets difference making them 3rd in Division 5, so they will remain in that league next season.
The Ladies' 4th team have had a very successful first season in the South Manchester League, winning the Division 3 league title! Congratulations to all the players who will be looking forward to being promoted to Division 2 next season.
The new Men's 5th team have had a storming season, and were runners up by 1 point in the Division 5 league in their first season which is a huge achievement! Congratulations to all the guys playing team tennis for the first time.
Getting ready for the new season!
Congratulations to the 4 man team who entered the Cheshire Shield O'50's doubles team event to defend the title they won in 2022.
L-R Chris Bowden, Martin Johnson, Dave Elson, Rob Chambers.
They've only gone and done it again by beating Lymm and Stockton Heath in the group rounds and then Hale in the final.
Well Done !
